University-Sponsored SAE Engineering Scholarships: Geneva College
SAE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
Founded in 1848, Geneva College is a Christian, coeducational college with an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students. Offering over 40 majors, Geneva is particularly strong in the sciences and engineering. Students may obtain a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree with a concentration in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Geneva also offers a BS with a major in Chemical Engineering administered by the Chemistry Department. Opportunities for student involvement in product development are enhanced through the Geneva College Center for Technology Development.

Student Eligibility Requirements:
- High school senior at the time of application.
- Accepted as an incoming freshman planning to major in engineering.
- Citizen of the United States (not permanent resident) at the time of application.
- The scholarship will be based on merit and financial need.
- Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1.
Terms of Scholarship:
- One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded.
- Renewable for three years if a 3.0 GPA is maintained.
- This scholarship is not transferable to another university.
Application Deadline: December 15
How to Apply:
- Download the application and save it to your hard drive as a Word document.
- Complete the application. All applications must be typed (hand-written applications will be rejected).
- Email the completed application (in Word or .pdf format) along with any additional documentation required for each scholarship (e.g., SAT/ACT scores, letters of recommendation, etc.) to scholarships@sae.org.

- All information must be submitted by December 15.
- Must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1.
- Application for this scholarship does not constitute an application for admission to the university. The student is responsible for applying for admission to this university. If application to this university is not made before January 15, the scholarship application will be disqualified.
Selection and Announcement of Recipient:
- The scholarship will be based on merit and financial need.
- Recipient(s) will be selected and notified by this university.
- Results for the recipients of the SAE Scholarships Program will be posted online by the end of July.
Terms for Renewal of Scholarship:
- May be renewed directly through the university for three additional years if criteria are met.
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
