SAE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is a four-year undergraduate and graduate college of The Pennsylvania State University. The College is located in Erie, Pennsylvania and offers a broad range of academic programs which allow students to complete a Penn State degree in a small-college atmosphere. Approximately 4,600 students are enrolled at Penn State Behrend.
The School of Engineering offers ABET accredited B.S. degrees in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, and Software Engineering; Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology; Mechanical Engineering Technology; and Plastics Engineering Technology. In addition, A.E.T. (2 year) degrees are offered in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, and Plastics Engineering Technology. Most Engineering and Engineering Technology students are required to complete a culminating senior project, often in cooperation with local and national industries. Extensive opportunities for undergraduate research mean our students are also scholars well suited for graduate study.
