SAE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is designed to recognize excellence in the engineering fields. The University of Bridgeport is a private, co-educational, non-sectarian, doctoral-level university founded in 1927. The University is located on a seaside campus along the Connecticut coast which boasts the third largest concentration of Fortune 500 and other multinational companies in the United States. The University of Bridgeport is known for its voluntary co-operative education programs that allow students to work in area companies, earn a salary, and gain valuable experience in their academic area of interest.

The University of Bridgeport offers an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a B.S. degree in computer science, in addition to Master of Science and PhD degrees. Course offerings combine theory with practical hands-on experience, using the most recent cutting-edge technologies, from robotics and automation to network applications and software engineering. The Engineering and Computer Science programs are responsive to the technology-driven, evolving trend in the workplace toward concurrent processes involving design, engineering and technical project management while providing a sound foundation built upon fundamental knowledge.
