SUNDSTRAND / SAE ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is a major urban university with a total enrollment of 26,000 students. The Milwaukee area offers outstanding living and recreational opportunities, as well as being a center for Wisconsin manufacturing and industrial research. The College of Engineering and Applied Science offers BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, and Materials Engineering. The undergraduate engineering enrollment is approximately 1,300 and the graduate engineering enrollment is approximately 350. The Mechanical Engineering Department has faculty with expertise in Combustion, Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Controls, Robotics, Mechanical Design, and other areas.

Student Eligibility Requirements:
- High school senior accepted as an incoming freshman to the College of Engineering & Applied Science at this university by April 1.
- Intend to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Citizen of the United States (not permanent resident) at the time of application.
- Minimum 1100 SAT or 26 ACT.
- Minimum 3.3 high school GPA.
Terms of Scholarship:
- One $500 will be awarded for the freshman year.
- This scholarship is not transferable to another university.

- Complete the application. All applications must be typed (hand-written applications will be rejected).

- Application for this scholarship does not constitute an application for admission to the university. The student is responsible for applying for admission to this university. If application to this university is not made before January 15, the scholarship application will be disqualified.
Selection and Announcement of Recipient:
- Recipient(s) will be selected and notified by this university.
- Results for the recipients of the SAE Scholarships Program will be posted online by the end of July.
Terms for Renewal of Scholarship: This scholarship is not renewable.
