The College of Engineering and Computer Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In addition, the College offers new options in Wireless Engineering and Energy Alternatives. All of the programs are focused on positioning our students as global leaders in engineering and computer science by emphasizing not only technical knowledge, but also the ingenuity, innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurship required to fully reap the benefits of this technical knowledge. Extensive laboratory facilities for academic requirements and research projects are available in the state-of-the art Russ Engineering Center and the new Joshi Research Center. Student Eligibility Requirements:

• High school senior accepted as an incoming freshman at this university.
• Intend to pursue a degree in any program in the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences.
• Citizen of the United States (not permanent resident) at the time of application.
• Selection will be awarded on basis of scholarship and achievement.
• Applicant may also be considered for other university scholarships based on merit and achievement.

Terms of Scholarship:

• One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded for the freshman year.
• This scholarship is not transferable to another university.

Application Deadline: December 15

How to Apply:

• Download the application and save it to your hard drive as a Word document.
• Complete the application. All applications must be typed (hand-written applications will be rejected).
• Email the completed application (in Word or .pdf format) along with any additional documentation required for each scholarship (e.g., SAT/ACT scores, letters of recommendation, etc.) to scholarships@sae.org.
• Submit copy of your official transcript to:

• All information must be submitted by December 15.
• Application for this scholarship does not constitute an application for admission to the university. The student is responsible for applying for admission to this university. If application to this university is not made before January 15, the scholarship application will be disqualified.

Selection and Announcement of Recipient:

• Recipient(s) will be selected and notified by this university.
• Results for the recipients of the SAE Scholarships Program will be posted online by the end of July.

Terms for Renewal of Scholarship: This scholarship is not renewable.
