The Hotels listed below have blocks of rooms allocated to the Baja SAE competition. These hotels are also the closest to the competition site, with quick access to Interstate 74. Hotel blocks are reserved from Wednesday May 28, 2008 through Sunday June 1, 2008 (you do not have to stay all four days). All reservations are the responsibility of the students. Please indicate the "Central Illinois Section of the Society of Automotive Engineers" when making reservations.

Camp Sites:
Jubilee College State Park
Campground facilities, open from April 15 to November 1, accommodate recreational vehicles or tents and include a shower building with flush toilets, a trailer dump station, graveled pads, and grills, water hydrants and primitive toilets. Campsites are Class A electric ($15.00) and Class C ($8.00) w/showers. Groups are welcome. Permits are required and can be obtained from the site staff or campground host. Reservations are no longer being accepted.
Carl Spindler Marina
On the bank of the picturesque Illinois River, this campground is named for the benefactors who donated this land to the park district in 1966. Open from March 1st until December 1st, Spindler offers 48 paved sites with electric and varying combinations of water or sewer hookups, and 24 primitive sites with electricity for campers or tents. Enjoy the beach area or take a walk on the nearby boardwalk of Illinois River Trail II, and experience nature up close. Shower and laundry facilities are available to campers along with a shelter and fire ring.
