November 12, 2009 The SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and the FSG (Formula Student Germany) jointly announced today that the FSG competition has been signed on as an official member of the FSAE (Formula SAE) series of student competitions.

Formula SAE Registration Restriction Lift Reminder - Revision to Date

SAE International apologizes for the incorrect date published. In the rules it does state that on Thursday, November 5th (1 month after original registration date of October 5th) the registration restriction will be lifted to allow for teams to enter a second competition.

For the past couple of years, SAE International has granted teams who finished on top to register 1 week earlier than the opening day for the next years competition season. For 2010, due to the cancellation of one event there will only be 200 available slots: 120 in Michigan and 80 in California.
