In an effort to reduce both team stress and website overloading, SAE is splitting the registration opening days/times for the 2012 CDS Competition Season Schedule. Competitions have been assigned a specific registration opening day; starting on the first Monday in October.
First Registration Day: Monday, October 3, 2011 @ 10:00 a.m. EDT
Formula SAE Michigan and Lincoln competitions will open online
Second Registration Day: Tuesday, October 4, 2011 @ 10:00 a.m. EDT
Aero Design, Baja SAE, Clean Snowmobile Challenge, Formula Hybrid and Supermileage competitions will open online
Prior to Registration
- Please make sure that you have an active SAE (SAE Affiliate) membership and you are able to log into your user account on https://www.sae.org/servlets/login as registration is online only.
*Your membership may not be active for up to 24 hours after you renew or register for the first time, so be advised. If you have problems with renewal/registering please contact customer service 1-724-776-4841 or email collegiatecompetitions@sae.org - Please have a credit card ready to complete your registration for all Collegiate Design Events. Registration fees must be paid at the time of registration.
International students will need to download and complete the International Student Registration form and submit to CDS staff for use during onsite registration at event.
International students who are not SAE members due to another affiliation with approved society will need to contact Collegiate Design Staff at collegiatecompetitions@sae.org for assistance.
Cancellation Policy
Please be advised that NO REFUNDS will be given if your team withdraws from a competition. We do ask that teams withdrawing provide us with notice at least two weeks in advance, or sooner, if possible by contacting collegiatecompetitions@sae.org.
Visa Requests
SAE cannot intervene with, or call or send personal letters to, the State Departments, Embassies or Consulates of the United States or other government on behalf of any meeting or event participant. However, once you have registered for the SAE meeting or event, SAE will provide you and/or your event team with a registration confirmation letter that you can use for your visa application or interview. Please email collegiatecompetitions@sae.org with your requests.
