Onsite Registration Procedure
- VIR Entrance - Enter VIR at the main entrance.
Turn right immediately before you arrive at the gate house and proceed to the FSAE registration tent.The FSAE registration tent will be on your right - watch for the signs.
Park and proceed to registration.
- Registration - Registration will be open at the FSAE registration tent:
Wednesday, April 23 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Thursday, April 24 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday, April 25 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
Saturday, April 26 8:00 am - NoonTeam members must submit the information required by Rule 2.1.7 "Individual Registration Requirements" on-line before the competition.
Have your driver's license or passport and your insurance information with you when you register at VIR.
All team members are expected to complete on-site registration at the same time.
VIR Admission - Your team will be given a maximum of ten (10) VIR admission tickets covering site entry through the end of the Bosch Engineering 250 on Sunday April 27, 2008.
If your team is bringing more than ten members and faculty advisors to the competition, then each participant after the first ten will be required to pay a $45.00 VIR entry fee - this is a discount from VIR's standard fee. The VIR entry fee will also cover admission to the Bosch Engineering 250 Grand-Am event. Any additional VIR entry fees must be paid, cash or credit card, at the time of on-site registration.
Family, Friends, Alumni - If any of your family, friends or alumni will be attending the competition they can receive the discounted $45.00 rate by registering at the FSAE Registration tent as an "associate" of your team and signing the FSAE liability waiver.
- Credentials - All registered team members and faculty must display both the FSAE credentials and the VIR entry ticket at all times when on site.
- Paddock Assignment - As soon as all team members have completed registration proceed to the VIR security checkpoint.
Once past the security checkpoint continue to the bottom of the hill, turn right and follow the signs.
The FSAE paddock will be on the left a short distance past the bridge - watch for the sign.
Stop at the paddock entry and wait for your paddock assignment.
